Despite recent court losses, Proud Boys plan major disruption of Pride events next month [1]

The Proud Boys only WISH they could be this fabulous
If you thought the nation’s largest white male domestic terrorist outfit was chastened by having four of their leaders being found guilty of sedition for their roles in the January 6th Insurrection, think again. Domestic terror and extremist watchdogs such as Anti-Defamation League are warning next month’s Pride attendees that the Proud Boys are planning major disruptions of Pride events all over the country and that things could get ugly.
Unlike their fascist brethren the Oath Keepers, which saw their membership plummet in the wake of January 6th, the Proud Boys have actually seen their own numbers grow since that terrible day. Not only that, but they are openly riding the wave of anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ+ hate in Republican-led legislatures.
Using Telegram to announce their intentions to “Let’s Go Bully The Queers” and mocking trans suicide, including posting vile anti-queer memes and propaganda, the Proud Boys plan on holding their own “Proud” parades which will inevitably stoke violence, which is their stated ambition.
"We are seeing just a singular focus on LGBTQ people," among the Proud Boys and far-right hate groups in general, said Heidi Bierich, co-founder of the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism. "And I don't see how we don't end up having more violence next month," she warned. "It's frankly getting a little out of control." "What happened last year, it was probably just a whiff of what we might see this year, after 12 months of organizing," Bierich said. "It's a dangerous thing, because the Proud Boys are all about violence, and so are the Patriot Front, she said. "Not necessarily firearms, but with bats, shields, and — most usually — with their fists."

Hilariously, the Proud Boys are planning on creating “Proud Boy Story Times” where children will no doubt be regaled by pro-fascist and pro-violent stories read by angry white men “while wearing a perry”, in reference to their use of the Fred Perry polo shirt.
In these Telegram channels users express their intention to “troll”, “trigger”, and “gaslight the Libs”, along with along with, as some posts put it, "taking back the meaning of pride," "taking back June," and stopping the "sexualizing and mutilation of our nation's children."
There is, of course, zero evidence that any “sexualizing or mutilation of our nation’s children” is going on but that never stopped extremist groups.
As one user stated:
"Like start getting normies involved and onboard. By mid-May we should be getting blow back from the F*g community or we aren't doing enough. If they aren't flipping shit, we are only tooting our own horns, ya know."
Provoking violence and reactions while attempting to attract the “normies” to their cause should work out very well for them, I anticipate. A reminder that the FBI defines domestic terrorism as “criminal acts dangerous to human life occurring in the U.S. that appear intended to coerce a civilian population or influence or affect the conduct of government.”
In other news, recent Fox News polling indicates that the VAST majority of Americans are not onboard with the demonization of LGBTQ+ people, with an overall 83% of respondents believing that attacks against the queer community are a problem, and 57% seeing it as a “major problem”. This is on a Fox News poll.
In contrast only 1% of respondents indicated they are concerned about “wokeness”. This proves that the Republican and far-right’s obsession with fabricated culture war issues is not winning them any voters, and that they are on the wrong side of the actual issues in this country, of which the top three are the economy, inflation, and gun violence, according to the same Fox News poll.
