It's not enough to use free speech to protest for the GOP
So I thought the far right’s response to Dylan Mulvaney’s salute from Bud Light was, of course, crazy, way over blown, and ridiculous. However, they have free speech. Besides the violent rhetoric and death threats, of which I am sure there were plenty, if you want to be Kid Rock and waste your ammo shooting up Bud Light cans on your own property, sure, go ahead. The ONE thing you can’t do, the whole meaning of free speech is AS A GOVERNMENT you cannot infringe on other people’s right to free speech.
Which of course is exactly what Ted Cruz is now trying to do. He is threatening to open an entire committee hearing in Congress, I shit you not, to investigate this and forcing Budweiser to sever all ties with her, and make her apologize for… someone trying to recognize she is a nice person. Of course Ted refers to her as a him…
Why can’t they just be satisfied with boycotting the company and being their normal idiot selves?
