So this one is courtesy of the Bad Ass Millennials, over at the Check my Ads, institute, who have made it their mission to go after online revenue for Fox news, and other sources of right wing disinformation.
Now, you may be asking yourself, What the hell does Tubi have to do with Fox News? Well guess who owns Tubi? I’ll give you a hint, the last name rhymes with Burdock.
That’s right, Tubi was acquired as a brand safe space for advertisers, fleeing Fox news, to send their money too. So if you want to fund an insurrection, support some neo-nutzies, and keep the ivy-direct-to-your-veins-hate-machine flowing, but not deal with any angry customers, Tubi is the place for you!
So how can we stop it? Well according to the aforementioned bad ass millennials.
There’s one way for us to throw a wrench in that plan: spread the word that Tubi is a Fox company — and post all about how you won’t be watching it. This week is a critical week to do that. Advertisers commit enormous amounts of money (we’re talking hundreds of millions of dollars) at the upfronts. If they see controversy coming, they’ll back out.
