“See you Wednesday,” Greg Dworkin said to me, when he last spoke to us on the show.

I remember it like it was yesterday, which technically it was, since I actually wrote this while it was still Tuesday.

And later on this week, I’ll remember what he says today like it was yesterday. Once on Thursday, when it actually will be yesterday, and then again on Friday, when it will only seem like yesterday, but will really be two days ago. Which admittedly does often feel like a yesterday, strictly defined, would feel.

Of course, on Friday, it will feel like just yesterday that Greg said, “See you again on Monday.” On account of it actually, at that point, being just yesterday.

And that’s how we make a procedural joke out of absolutely nothing.
