I think this is an excellent piece.

When it comes to long range missiles the US is being left behind by the UK and even now the French.

And in the case of F16s, the UK and the Dutch are leading the charge in trying to generate momentum for a US change of heart.

Incrementalism has cost Ukrainian lives.

I appreciate the US has led the way in the amount of aid offered and in galvanizing the international coalition but the risks in not giving Ukraine what it needs now are rising.

The orange monstrosity is ahead in the polls and if — heaven forbid — he wins in 2024 then Ukraine will be in deep trouble if it has not won by then.
