Here is what Chip Roy, who seems to be the current spokesperson for the Freedom Terrorists (aka the Republican Party), has to say about what is referred to as the “debt ceiling negotiations.”

They know that if they go down that road with this 14th Amendment argument, we will blow crap up. I’m serious — it will be just open warfare in terms of what we’re going to deal with on the spending front if these SOBs try to go down this completely ... unconstitutional and stupid road.

Who are “these SOBs”? Joe Biden. Democrats. Liberals. Anyone not them.

These are “negotiations”?

Chip Roy declares “it will be open warfare” if they “go down this unconstitutional and stupid road.” What is now covert (figurative) warfare will become “open warfare” because the terrorists will escalate hostilities and “blow crap up.” He emphasizes that he’s “serious” about blowing crap up.

What does open warfare mean, exactly? Bombs? Secret militias given the OK to start shooting all the SOBs?

The Republican Party, now the Freedom Terrorists, is a criminal organization that is holding the country hostage. Do what we say or else we will hurt you is not a negotiating point. It is an ultimatum.

Or else what? They’ve already blown everything up. The only crap left to blow up is the government, our Constitutional democracy.

Unfortunately, Joe Biden, who served in the Senate for 37 years, along with other Democratic politicians who have served for many years, may have a difficult time realizing that their long-time political opponents, Republicans, are now terrorists, actual enemies engaged in actual warfare with them. They are not negotiating; they are threatening. The club of honorable Democrats and Republicans who have mutual respect for each other does not exist anymore. Reality is sometimes harsh, but it needs to be met.

Call their bluff. Do whatever you can before it’s too late and the Freedom Terrorists win the war once and for all, and in 2024 King Donald Trump is elected, for life.
