For years, musician Frank Zappa spoke of a Fascist Theocracy taking over the United States. It seemed far-fetched, but the man was serious. Set aside that Mr. Zappa was only a musician and not a brilliant expert like so many of today’s politicians. He gave valid examples, explanations, and warnings. Check out his consistent and supported position in many videos.
We have examples of how fascist theocracies begin and grow throughout history. Some are short-lived and some continue wars for dominance for centuries, but none have ended well.
I am not opposed to religious freedom or government, but a marriage of the two is always contentious and messy. Battles for custody and control of a nation wind up in skirmishes among different sects and, ultimately, drawn out war.
My concern about a fascist theocracy?
The Dominionists’ Dilemma
Once Christian Nationalists take over the United States, tell me, which denomination of Christianity will lead us? Which denomination is the right and true one? How will that be determined? How will that be enforced?
Be aware. You know how exclusionary, demanding, and ultra-protective those other, wrong religious groups can be.
