My father only had a very few 45s. One of them was “Marie Elena” by Los Indios Tabajaras . I have no idea how hed discovered them, or when. Our parents are often a mystery to us, in ways large and small. Every now and again, I would beg him to put it on. And he did; every time. The DH heard me talk about this wonderful piece, and for Christmas he bought me an album which contained the song. I never asked for it...he just remembered and did it. Please to enjoy.
The other popular song they did was called, “Marta.” I think it’s very pretty, and very sensual.
