A Little Dream of Jesus [1]

Last night I dreamt Jesus was back on earth, not entirely intentionally, and had wound up working as a waiter in a cheap restaurant. The restaurant was little more than long tables with benches lining them to sit on, more or less like a high school cafeteria.
I was seated across the young woman I was there with and Jesus was attending to someone directly behind her. Feeling somewhat as if I were snitching I leaned forward and told her behind cupped hand. “That’s Jesus behind you! I swear to God, absolutely honestly truly truly!”
She looked skeptical (as who can blame her) but when Jesus was serving someone at the far end of the bench she slid down and stared openly and directly into his face. I was embarrassed by her behavior and told her “Stop staring! Watch your manners. We don’t do that.” MY protests didn’t seem to have much impact on her, tho.
Then I did get a good look at his face, as if I were the one staring. Average looking young white guy, looked to be in his early twenties, a bit chubby, brown hair longish but not really long-long. Clean-shaven (there goes another illusion.)
He seemed a bit confused and unsure of himself, which was a bit endearing. Never trust a know-it-all God who thinks he has all the answers, right?
If I remember right she did give him a good tip.
