Bakhmut ... If Klishchiyivka Is Retaken the Russian Position Could become Tenuous [1]

Bakhmut Axis Today -- per Chuck Pfarrer

This battle status map today(May 11, 2023) from Chuck Pfarrer(regularly used by Annielli) tells a good story of how quickly the Ukrainians are reversing the situation on the ground around Bakhmut, especially in the Southern sector. One can also see why Progozhin is worried and angry.

Klishchiyivka was the scene of a month’s long slog by Wagner forces. And it looks like the Ukrainians are back over there in just a day or two of fighting. If the Russian “irregulars” are still on their skeddadle from that sector, it is likely tomorrow will bring news of the Ukrainians having re-taken this hill top town. And it will elevate the danger of the Russians at Bakhmut being flanked from that direction just as Prigozhin has warned.

Up in the Northern sector, it would also appear that while the Ukrainians are for now not mounting a major localized counter in that direction, the Russians are unwittingly creating several potential salients which the Ukrainians could jump on in a lightening assault. The marked location of Russian artillery strikes in this sector possibly points to the Ukrainians likely setting up to do just that. Wouldn’t it be something if just like Klishchiyivka, the Blahodatne-Soledar sector is suddenly back in play again?
