Is there a film/tv genre you really dislike but everyone seems to enjoy a great deal? [1]

Oy...at least it is not the 1970s when too many movies and shows focused on the mafia.

I just never could get into any that I saw, from 1 whole film on the family, or a network cable series. My dislike started while watching the formulaic drama shows from that time of The Godfather series to the most recent Sopranos shows I never could just get into it, The purpose of allying with criminal minds who commit grave acts of hate and crime.

So how about you? Is there a generic comedy form, like slapstick that annoys you? Or am I alone in not being able to appreciate all forms of movies.
