Biden and the DOJ dither and fiddle as country and Constitution burn [1]

Oh my god, what are we going to do? The Constitution plainly says the debt of the U.S. shall not be questioned, and yet Kevin, Marge, and Matt are questioning it. That's not fair! That leaves us—us being Biden and the DOJ—in an unwanted but surely expected quandary (Did you ever think that the Pootinists members of Congress wouldn't try to f*ck the country with the Debt Ceiling? Who didn't see this coming a couple of years back?).

Ordinary unrich citizens wonder if they will have food, shelter, or medications in June and for the rest of their shortened lives. On the other hand, those in charge—unworried about food, shelter, or medicines and who can expect to live well into their eighties—wring their hands with concerns:

The Constitution says the debt shall not be questioned, yet does it really?

Is there any relevant case law that could adversely prevent a strong defense of the country that clerks might have missed?

Are there yet-undiscovered memoranda of understanding or memos somewhere in a DOJ government-issued desk drawer that would negatively touch on, even barely, a defense of the Constitution that would save the country?

More worrisome, what would Ginnie, Harlan, Leo, and Citizens United by dark money want the Justices to do should a defense of the Constitution reach SCOTUS?

Robustly defend the Constitution or let Maga members of Congress destroy the country? It is a delicate question for Biden and the DOJ. The Duo has had two years to prepare for what they knew would happen. Yet what do we see now that Kevin, Marge, and Matt's Second *Big Lie and **Second Insurrection are upon us? With only weeks to go, instead of a bold, thought-out plan to protect the country, we ordinaries see Johnny-come-lately fiddling, negotiations, warnings, dithering, and doubts about the nation's prospects to survive a default.

God save the U.S. from well-meaning and intelligent Constitutional scholars surrounded by shelves of 500 books but who could not and can not figure out what “...debt cannot be questioned” means. God save us from well-fed and comfortable politicians who don't have to worry about paying a $200 monthly air conditioning bill, but who will continue to have coffers well full and hair well coiffed if a default happens. And God save us from federal lawyers with shined leather shoes combing search engines for case law or misplaced files containing MOU's, LOL's or memos that would give them an excuse, any excuse, not to get involved in a vigorous defense of the country and the Constitution.

*Second Big Lie: the debt ceiling concerns future debt, not past debt.

**Second Insurrection: Kevin, Marge and Matt orchestrated debt default. This Second Insurrection will kill and hurt more people than the first and will destroy the lives of millions of ordinary citizens.
