Well, last week we were wishing everyone a Happy May.

But now it’s the next week, so we’re back Under the Cloud of a Mass Shooting.™

Just like the pandemic is “over” and COVID-19 is now endemic, we are just always Under the Cloud,™ now.

But as the gun enthusiasts in Texas (and elsewhere) frequently say, if you took away the guns, people would just murder with their cars, or whatever’s handy. And so that appears to be just what a Texan decided to do yesterday, even though nobody took away their guns.

So we should probably shut Texas down until we can figure out what the hell is going on down there.
