Tucker Carlson could too kick Fox's ass. [1]

As I documented in my last diary, Tucker is the Big Dog in his relationship with Fox, not some media airhead that they can just push around. He’s more like if Roger Stone, Roger Ailes, and Karl Rove all had a Mastermind baby together (don’t picture it). He’s one of the most powerful and influential people in the Republican Party, one of the only people who has extensive pull in both the Genteel Old Republic and the super-online MAGA chuds.
He’s better funded than Rupert Murdoch and is longtime pals with the billionaires who finance the party, ties that go back into the last century (his pal Foster Friesse bankrolled the Daily Caller). He’s better connected and rubs shoulders with global dictators, Supreme Court justices and the presumptive GOP Presidential nominee.
He’s got credibility with the chudience that Fox can’t touch. In fact he’s the main reason the network ended up having to accept Trump and then went from ‘is this math you do as a conservative?’ in 2012 to ‘Italian satellites must have changed the vote totals’ in 2020. If you read the Dominion texts they reveal that he’s one of the main people influencing strategy, messaging and even hiring decisions for the entire network.
He’s probably not just going away. Let them fight!
