It’s the week you have been waiting for all spring – AMPHIBIAN WEEK, started to develop awareness and provide education about these wonderful creatures. Here’s a few links for exploring these animals.

Amphibians include salamanders and newts, frogs and toads, and everyone’s favorites, the caecilians.

PARC will have a new theme each day on their website on the natural history of amphibians.

The Amphibian Foundation is a wonderful organization in Atlanta, GA that has on-line classes and tons of educational material. They are heavily involved in conservation of rare amphibians, monitoring, and educational programs. The website also sells amphibian-themed swag. If you live nearby it is worth a visit!
