PWB: Noble Fur Fridays - On the road, five years ago [1]

Taking it easy in Oregon.
Once again, I’m up against publishing time, and still putting the diary together. This has been a busy week, but now it’s time to comb through the archives and pick out some pictures. Previous diaries have covered various locations that Noble Fur visited in 2018. Today’s diary shows some of the stops along the way, on the trip from Georgia to Oregon in July of that year.
This is how we celebrated July 4. I packed the truck, Noble Fur supervised.
First day out, on my brother’s back porch. Something definitely caught kitty’s attention!
Next to the Osage River in central Missouri. Noble Fur was not eager to pose for the camera.
Somewhere in Kansas. Note the well worn floor mat.
On an overnight stay in Colorado.
We spent one night with relatives in Utah, in a cabin they were renting. Noble Fur found the highest point in the loft, from which to view her temporary domain.
Everywhere we went, kitty had access to her basic necessities.
My relatives and in-laws liked their outdoor activities. When Noble Fur realized that it was time to get back on the road, she had plenty of places to hide. It took a bit of work to coax her out of hiding.
Noble Fur “helping” me with the forest maps in Oregon.
I found shared housing in Medford, Oregon. The house had a nice fenced-in back yard.

Doves and other birds were frequent visitors to the back yard. Noble Fur liked to stalk them.
That covers our trip from Georgia to Oregon. 2018 was an eventful year for work and travel. Noble Fur was able to experience a wide variety of environments during our travels.
