The replies to Josh’s tweet ran the gamut, but I’ll focus on the ignorant. (by the way, ignorant means lack of knowledge. It’s not an insult.) And by focus I mean talk about. I may post one or two. Or, I may not.
The Manchurian Candidate has been with us for over 60 years. The Richard Condon book came out in 1959 and the 1st movie followed in 1962 (the 2nd one was 2004.) So, unless one is under 35, or totally ignorant, you should know the referenced quote without it being spoon fed. If you’re over 50 and don’t know it, you need to get out more.
