(My handyman told me that when Linda Ronstadt recorded this album [Canciones de mi Padres], she had to learn the Spanish. ! The album has a lyrics book, and on occasion I play the disk and sing along. No, my dogs have not abandoned me. This song is one that utterly defeats me, as it has such a rapid tempo I can’t keep up. But I’m not-keeping-up with a big ol’ grin on my face, so there’s that!!)
Tomorrow is May 5th, and here in NM, that’s kind of a big deal. Now, I understand that TODAY is May Fourth, and in the Star Wars Nerd World, that’s also a rilly big deal. But to be honest, I only enjoyed Star Wars insofar as I got to watch my hunny become a kid again when HE watched it. Soooo …..
