Hedge fund manager Ken Griffin gave at least $10 million to Ron DeSantis last year, part of the $217 million DeSantis raised.
His companies have $200 million of investments in gun and ammo companies.
Today we learned:
Harvard to rename school after top Republican donor following $300M gift
Griffin’s name will be on the graduate arts and sciences building.
Does Harvard desperately need the money? Well, they have a $52 billion endowment— the world’s largest.
So Harvard — arguably the leading institution of higher learning in the country, is proudly displaying the name of a guy:
*whose companies’ bullets and guns are killing schoolchildren and others across the country; and
*whose favorite candidate:
has pushed through anti-gay and “anti-woke” legislation;
is attacking higher education all over the state;
encourages book banning all over his state;
has worked to disenfranchise voters;
has banned AP Afro-American studies;
is campaigning against vaccines; and
has trafficked migrants out of state, leaving them to fend for themselves.
The last — using men, women and children as pawns for a stunt — is a dehumanizing act of early stage fascism. It alone disqualifies him from holding any office.
