So I’m all ready to head up north for the summer. Just waiting for the damn tornados to stop.

In the meantime, I’ll be in Orlando for a week or two, partly just to make sure all my systems are still working okay, and partly to visit a few places I like. No theme parks this time, though.

First up is Gatorland. Always one of my favorite places to visit, and now they got some new stuff.

For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently wintering in Florida.

Baby Gators. Awwwwww, they’re so cuuuuute.

Nesting season is almost over, so the ones remaining are the stragglers who got a late start

It was a hot day, so the water park was pretty popular

Alas, my favorite part of the park—the swamp walk—was washed out by recent rains

The park has added “close-up encounters” with some of the species, like the Capybaras
