Coincidence? Clarence Coverage & BizJet Adds Pop Up on MSNBC [1]

Bombardier Bizjet Ads Pop Up on MSNBC During Coverage of Clarence Thomas Story

I watch a lot of MSNBC. Last night during shows which covered the disgraceful story of Clarence Thomas accepting potentially millions of dollars worth of “gifts” from his dear friend GOP mega-donor Harlan Crow, I twice saw brand new ads for a company selling BizJets. Of special interest was a photo similar to the above and labeled “Bombardier (some model name)”. We are told that Clarence and Ginni have been globe hopping in Crow’s Bombardier Jet for years to get to exotic destinations around the world for expensive stints on his private mega-yacht and other high end places.

Seeing those ads for the first time last night blew my mind. How bizarre!

Sorry I can’t remember the name of the company, but to have those ads appear just as the Thomas story broke is amazing. So I wonder if the company saw a golden opportunity to fly in on some publicity? And how would they get those ads on the air so quickly? Did MSNBC solicit them?

One other aspect of this is the ad venue. I watch MSNBC via Roku and Sling. Each one of them features certain ad segments, but I am almost certain this was an MSNBC ad. I am interested if anyone else noticed the ads. Regardless, what are your thoughts on this amazing coincidence.

If I see the ads again, I’ll note the ad company and website and update this article. Maybe others can report it.
