This morning a diary appeared and was subsequently yanked that reported that Rebekah Jones’ 13 year old son had been arrested. Jones claimed that he had been arrested for reposting a harmless tweet that criticized police. Many commenters took the tweet by her and ran with it; a few others were skeptical. The skeptics were right.

None of us here are fans of the Florida governor, and we hate police abuse; however, Jones has a history of falsely claiming to be a victim of them, and it appears to me that she is mentally unwell. Her son claims to be on anti-depressants, which unfortunately have their own history of causing suicidal or homicidal thoughts.
