Manhattan grand jury considering Trump's hush money case will break for a month [1]

According to a Politico report highlighted on RawStory:

People anticipating a potential indictment of Donald Trump will have to wait another month thanks to a previously scheduled hiatus for the Manhattan grand jury considering the case, Politico reported. If any indictment is to come, it would be pushed to late April at the earliest, although it's possible that the schedule could change.

I am continuously amazed at how slow our justice system works. I get that the people on the grand jury need “time off” occasionally but seriously, how long does Trump get to keep sticking his thumb in the eye of the rule of law without any repercussion?

The most recent example, the guy posted a photo of himself holding a bat next to a photo of a Manhatten DA and no consequence other than “the grand jury is going to go out on a break for a month.”

Good readers of this site know that the two events are not related, or at least I assume and HOPE they are not related, but 1. brain-deficient folks like Trump and his henchmen are going to think their intimidation tactics are having an effect so they should keep up the pressure and 2. to more normal folks, it sure could look like the DA is getting cold feet.

I have to keep faith that the rule of law will prevail.

But the fact that we don’t even know IF any charges for the long-running list of Trump’s crimes over 5 decades will ever be charged in the first place let alone when, through hush money payments, fairly obvious money laundering allegations, strong evidence of tax and insurance fraud, up to an attempt to take over our democracy…. my faith in justice is wavering.
