See? That wasn't so hard. Yes! amerigo being Portuguese for "not my real name" and vespucci meaning "ibid" we to happenstance do sing. It was Lisbon, in a brothel hallway, an enfant terrible was discovered in a loaf of bread carved out in the shape of a shoe, with only a note, Harvey Winklestein, where our story begins. Called "Loafer" until his eventual death, Harvey was remembered for his constant refrain: Amerigo! Amerigo! -- and now you know the rest of the story.
