What do you do if you are a member of the political/economic/social elite during a time when your country is hip deep in a terrible bloody war that is filling cemeteries almost as fast as COVID?

What do you do when those who are sent to fight this war are being sent to senseless deaths en masse by incompetent and corrupt commanders?

What do you do when it’s the sons of ethnic minorities and prisoners fighting the war and public resentment starts to build that you and your family are over-privileged pricks not standing up for the Motherland?

You could flee the country, but that would endanger your wealth, your standing and possibly your life.

If only you could find a way for you or your sons to serve in the military without actually putting your ass in any sort of danger.

He enlisted when the full-scale invasion began, was wounded in September and returned to the frontlines after recovery.

It’s really kind of sad watching another of these video appeals to Putin to fix the cruelty and incompetence of the commanders ordering them to certain deaths.

These guys’ best chance for survival would have been surrender. It’s a safe bet that half of them will be dead within a month.
