Good morning, Newdists. Hope you all are doing fabulously this Saturday morning!

I was supposed to fly on Sunday, but that won’t happen. Sibling and SIL have COVID. First timers. They are recovering in a different space and we are continuing to be extra careful on this end. Have a ticket for Saturday next, at the crack of dawn. Ugh.

All that aside, Newdist, I’ve absolutely been loving the snow! Yeah, shoveling the sidewalk and the driveway is a pain, but I get to feel the snow while I’m here. Becomes a routine — Coffee up, go out and shovel. Come back in and have hot breakfast, attend to parent.

Remember, I won’t be here.

Well, read it as Saturday. ;))

Everything else —

[Stunning. That sky looks like dupioni silk]

x Patience and a bit of luck allowed me to capture last nights flyout of Flaco, the enigmatic Eurasian Eagle Owl flying directly over head as he continues to defy the many odds.

x Still slowly working my way through last night’s photos. They are going to be lots of posts over the next week. The lights were ever-changing and often came cascading down like the wings of a giant bird, and it was such a treat to be able to capture that. #AuroraBorealis pic.twitter.com/mLhWtcWY4K — Dr. Heather Hinam 🌻 (@SecondNatureMB) March 25, 2023
