There are some reports today that Ukraine has liberated Nova Kakhovka on the east side of the Dnipro River near Kherson.

Not quite.

It does seem, however, that Russia has left town, looting everything in sight as they go.

x Nova Kakhovka stands on the east bank of the Dnipro River and is home to the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant that connects it with the Ukrainian-controlled west bank of the river.
