It’s Tuesday afternoon as I write this but as you’re reading this on Wednesday, we can possibly see the indictment of Trump by the NYC District Attorney today. The first of several indictments that will be raining down on Trump.

Something that many have noticed, the mainstream media is now downplaying this possible indictment as trivial so they can continue to complain that Trump will “get away with it all”. It’s frustrating that they continue to do this for ratings and website clicks. They also cling to this idea that they need to remain “balanced” in their reporting. This is a serious time and it would be nice if they actually just reported the truth, whether it seems balanced to them or not. If what you report is something in between a lie and the truth…. you’re not reporting the truth, you’re amplifying the lie.

So here is a frustrating tweet from a legal analyst that shows what I talked about above, rebutted by Palmer Report (a good short thread):

x I predicted that no matter which jurisdiction indicted Trump first, large chunks of the media would automatically spin it as being unimportant, so they could continue pushing defeatist outrage porn about how he hasn’t been indicted in the other jurisdictions. And here it is. pic.twitter.com/zNsv5W2vVd — Palmer Report (@PalmerReport) March 21, 2023

Then here is this great summation thread by Judd Legum dealing with this subject and why this coming indictment is nothing to be minimized:

x 1. There is an emerging narrative from pundits across the political spectrum that Trump's hush money payments to Stormy Daniels weren't that important

And everyone should focus on other issues

This is wrong

Stormy Daniels matters

Of course, Trump and his close advisors and supporters are all talking nonsense like “this indictment will only make him stronger” “now he’ll really win in 2024”… whatever helps them sleep at night.

Also, Trump’s calls for protest seems to be falling on deaf ears. Either his MAGA crew is dwindling, or they are seeing J6 rioters being sentenced to long jail terms and would prefer not to join them.

People have reported that there are protests being attended by anywhere from 0 to 20 supporters.

x BREAKING: A massive crowd has gathered in from of trump Tower. There are many fives of them!!!

One protest last night had 5 times the amount of media in attendance as there were supporters.

Here’s one protest that took place that I do not think he will like very much…

And finally, there’s that wonderful group of Trump sycophants in the House who are not very bright. They are threatening hearings and demanding information from DA Bragg about this investigation. Jordan needs to be careful here as he is tiptoeing quite close to obstruction of justice. Let alone the fact that the federal government (Congress) has ZERO jurisdiction here. Can’t wait for DA Bragg’s “pound sand” letter to Jordan.

So I guess the Committee on Weaponization of the Federal Government was not set up to investigate if there was weaponization by the federal government … but to actually weaponize the federal government to bend to their will? Here’s Jordan’s ill advised letter:

So ending with some fun. First, this truck is circling the streets of Palm Beach…

And for those of you who are Ted Lasso fans, the cast of the show was at the White House on Monday for an important discussion on mental health (video within the article).

x 'Ted Lasso' cast joins White House briefing to talk about mental health: A scene like one right out of "Ted Lasso" unfolded at the White House press briefing as actor Jason Sudeikis fielded a question from sports critic Trent Crimm. via NBCNews https://t.co/1KAwUAG31y — Jeffrey Levin 🇺🇦 (@jilevin) March 21, 2023

Well, all of the cast members didn’t stand up front:

The actor who plays Trent Crimm, a reporter, actually mixed in with the reporters and was called on for a question. It was a laugh.

Well, that’s it for now. My whole post could be out dated if Trump has already been indicted… but I hope you enjoy reading it anyway.

Chat away!
