What Rudy means when he says a Trump indictment would be "THE END OF CIVILIZATION" [1]

Yesterday, I came across Jesse Dollemore’s take on Rudy Giuliani’s rather stark claim that the end of civilization was nigh if Donald Trump were to be arrested. Giuliani has already tanked his reputation over the years, and it’s not immediately clear who he is trying to convince. Still, I gave it a whirl because it's good to keep tabs on what these instigators say.
Guiliani’s audience was apparently that of Newsmax, where he told viewers, “You can look at ancient history, and you can see this is the kind of thing that ends a civilization.”

Dollemore, a YouTube influencer whose style I like, misses the mark when he describes what Rudy is doing. He characterizes Rudy’s words as hyperbole, but this is not mere hyperbole. It’s code.
’Civilization’ to white-power types means the history and culture that (to them) only White people made. (I’ve seen this in action, where someone tried to argue that the wholesale slaughter of Native Americans was justified as they were just part of the natural scenery: killing them came part and parcel to acquiring and clearing the land. I shut that entire line of “argument” down with quickness; but rest assured that there are people out there who actually think along these lines.)
Trump is the avatar of white supremacists. His stint in the Oval Office was seen by many of that type to be the pinnacle of their cultural status and power. For Trump to be jailed, after he has taken upon himself this mantle of the Great White Hope—the leader of abject and overt Whiteness—would signal the dismantling of that entire power structure, because he has been so overt about it. His jailing would be the most outward sign of that ideology in decline.
So Giuliani, harkening back to terms already loaded and condensed into Whiteness shorthand, is alerting Trump’s most loyal and most bound subjects-come-disciples to ready themselves, because to them such a development would signal the end of their brief public moment in the sun (at least of the era post-Civil Rights movement, where such open displays of racial hatred and discrimination became anathema to public life). Trump is their champion, and they must save him.
