Then, on the rest of the menu, Los Angeles schools will close as district workers begin a three-day strike; Philadelphia announced a $9.25 million settlement with hundreds of people over the police response to the George Floyd protests; and, Minnesota is moving to fortify its state status as an abortion refuge.

After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where a former United States military pilot accused of training Chinese aviators was lured from China to Australia as part of a US plan to extradite him; and, the France Council of State ordered the government to better protect endangered dolphins and porpoises.
