This Texan’s been searching and searching for current information on what the Orange Crook still owes for all his past rallies. I finally found this map this weekend. These figures look very familiar to the prior year’s that I found.
I’ll give you what I came up with. The sources and dates are listed, and they’re all on Google. I just had to keep searching! These massive debts haven’t really been given attention since 2021, wonder why? What he’s done has hurt these cities and the people who live there. Obviously, because the numbers on this map are almost the same from all these past years.
You get the idea, he’s not paying anyone, back to his first campaign! Surprise, surprise. I didn’t see mention of law suits, but I imagine they’ll be coming. Many of the cities spoke about all the money they’ve lost during the pandemic, and how much this additional lost money has hurt them.
Another thing I learned was how much he wasn’t billed at all. Some cities routinely take the loss for political rallies and don’t send invoices! With him, they likely thought it wasn’t worth the effort.
Maybe they’ll quit voting for him, finally? What will it take? How much does he have to steal from their taxpayers, as well as tearing our country apart? It appears he won’t be going back to cities he owes, at least not so far. If they let him, they’ll get what they deserve. Here’s what I found:

If you’ll indulge me, I’d like to tell you a little story about “wonderful, wonderful Wacko”, as we used to call it when I was at Baylor! (No insults intended! It’s a lovely little town.) Anyway, I only lasted one semester after being forced into going there.
Baylor was the only college that my father would pay for that would get me away from home! He went to Baylor, my uncle went to Baylor, my aunt went to Baylor. And my aunt always thought my mother was beneath her because she didn’t go. Everyone who didn’t go to Baylor was beneath her! Eventually, I had cousins and second cousins who went to Baylor. Go Bears.
I have many memories of wearing ear plugs to study and to sleep, while other freshmen girls ran up and down the halls playing like toddlers. New girls were forced into female dorms with 8pm curfews; no smoking, no pants, no shorts, no trash cans more than half full, and chapel every day! My kind of place.
But the kicker was little Betty. I was told this tiny girl came from East Texas Oil, she had the car. We were friends, but not close. I’ll never forget going into her room for months, holding my breath and my nose, to keep from gagging over the smell. Nobody stayed long in that room!
Since I wasn’t there the following semester, a friend called me with, “You won’t believe this!” Betty was sitting in English class when she started a back ache. Instead of going to her swimming class that she took all semester, she went back to the dorm. That back started hurting a lot more. Down she went, to the dorm mother’s office, “ Mrs. Pickering, my back is killing me!” I’ll never forget that name!
After much hand wringing over this child feeling worse and worse, she finally walked her to the health center. Big misnomer on that one. I got 2 cc of ice cold penicillin into my right sciatic nerve for an ear ache. The doc couldn’t find an otoscope, so he looked into my ear with a flash light! I barely walked for a week. That kind of thing feels wonderful 50 years later too!
Shortly after Betty was presented to the nurse, that white dress uniform was flying back out that bathroom door, screaming: “Miz Pickering, Miz Pickering, come see what this girl has passed!!!” That quote and visualization has produced smiles and laughs all these years! (Although looking back as an older woman, I do realize it wasn’t funny. But you had to know the characters.)
What happened was … little Miss Betty went out with her boyfriend the night before she left for Baylor, where all good girls go to never get into trouble. From that point on, she went catatonic concerning her body! She did not know she was pregnant. She did not know she was in labor. She puked the entire pregnancy into towels that she rarely washed, shoving them under her bed. Those towels were that horrible smell. She lived in complete denial for 9 months.
She didn’t gain weight due to all the puking, and she never “showed”, even in her bathing suit that entire semester! Then she delivered a perfectly healthy 7 pound baby girl into the commode. She went home with her baby over the weekend and came back Monday to take finals! And nobody knew a thing except that nurse. And of course, dear Mrs. Pickering who was still shaking in shock!
And THAT was my Waco experience!
