A new billboard truck is driving around Mar-a-Lago, this time displaying a ticking clock [1]

A couple of days ago, Donald Trump went to Truth Social, his failure of a social media app, and posted one of his patented all-caps screeds. The piece of news in this screaming rant was that he believed he would be indicted, possibly arrested, by New York officials, for his part in paying hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels. This arrest, according to Trump, would take place on Tuesday. Hey, it’s almost Tuesday!

While it is possible that Trump will be arrested on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, it is more likely that an indictment will take place after Tuesday. Either way, we all send our thoughts and prayers to the brave folks doing the work of justice against tyrants.

The group Daughters Defend Democracy made some news the other day by sending a billboard truck to drive around Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The truck featured Fox News’ own all-caps screamer Tucker Carlson’s leaked tweets, where he derided Trump. Fun was had by all as the truck circled and circled and circled (like a donut) the resort where the disgraced former president kept loads of confidential documents he was not supposed to have.

On Monday, the Daughters Defend Democracy group sent another billboard truck down to Mar-a-Lago—but this time, the truck just ran a countdown. Tick tock!
