20 Years ago protesting war [1]

I was reminded that it is 20 years ago this month that Bush started the Iraq war in large part using lies from Colin Powell.

I remember being in the streets to protest this choice over an over. Here are some of the people who agreed, and flooded the streets of San Francisco back then.

The first time I joined in a big protest was in February 2003, with thousands of others. I cannot find decent photos, I think I was too angry to even think to take a pic as we were still trying to stop this war at that point. By March 16th and the weeks following the start of the war, there were millions protesting around the world! I cannot believe it has been 20 years.
