Special Bulletin

Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis, proving once again that he is completely unbiased in passing laws protecting intellectual curiosity and immoral critical thinking has done something no previous American leader has had the courage to do -- the Governor today has banned his own book from all of Florida's schools, libraries, and media services. By noon today, no one in Florida will be allowed to read The Courage to Be Free: Florida's Blueprint for America's Revival.

Standing in front of a set of the banned Encyclopedia Britannica (because it contains references to Socialism and Democracy) the Governor explained his startling decision. So many critics of my administration have accused me of prejudice in my laws banning and burning books that I have decided to display my true unbiased self by banning my own book. That should silence those snivelling snowflakes who do not appreciate my struggle to save young and old alike from being exposed to ideas that they are incapable of understanding and may cause them to lose sleep at night. Besides there will is a major motion picture being made of my book --BLUE PRINT -- starring House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and, as his deep throat love interest --Marjorie Taylor Greene. I shall allow the

G-rated film to be shown in Florida, but not at Mar-o-Largo or Disneyland."

Critics of the Governor (i.e. 2 or 3 journalists awaiting trial) have hinted that because Gail Collins of the New York Times had called his book "boring" the Governor did not want his dedicated followers to reach the same conclusion. Thus, banning his own book keeps his untarnished reputation intact.
