I played a lot of games with my friend Tom. We'd go to a coffee and donut place, set up my portable board, and kill some time. Since he always won the games, I appreciated his indulging my enthusiasm. Being just teenagers, we'd have to be home in time for dinner. Anyway, I suggested we meet up and play some more after dinner one day, and wIth a friendly chuckle, he said sure. So there I am, eating dinner, and I saw it as clear as anything. It's his Knights. He never beat me at chess again. Some say Bishops are better than Knights. Maybe.
