Russia is about to run into some big trouble in Bakhmut. [1]

Just amazing to me — Ukraine is popping mines BEHIND the Russian forces here. Like they are going to drive their armor into that stuff — talk about cocky. That is to say — Ukraine is firing anti-armor artillery stuff behind the Russians attack. Anti armor mines fired from artillery. You would use that to your front to deter an attack coming at you, not behind the attack — never heard of that ever even considered. They are called RAMS or RAAMS.

Sure looks like they are going to push them into that stuff — pretty safe to say there is a lot more than 4 brigades of Ukrainians out there for this little play like I have seen reported. Really — they just have to flood a few choke points they have to withdraw to — they would slaughter that armor and the panic it would cause you can’t calculate.

I mean ANY conventional reading of this situation here should be so clear Ukraine should withdraw from that pocket there. But that is sure not what they are doing. Why would that be? Think they have something like this in mind?

I understand really — Russia appears like it has like two pincers that can encircle Bakhmut — But I see two salients vulnerable from three sides each with an unknown force all around them. That is the way I see it. I always thought they might get into that city but they sure will have a hell of a time getting out. Just IMHO.

There is a young (to me) LT I see talk I think pretty highly of that picked this up. He posts on youtube — I think his name is Paul. He is a hell of a lot more current then me and I think he likes the army a lot more than I did. Something like Combat vet — something like that. Very smart young man.

What a load of bullshit Ukraine sold the Russians about waiting for new western weapons to attack — they so sold this crap to the Russians. They were never waiting for it — would you if you were them??? I mean like they would bet their country on what others may do to help?

Christ, how gullible are those Russians?
