Presidential Candidates and Their "media machines"
When it comes to our Common Sense and when applied to our national political arena, the "favorite donors" for each perceived presidential candidate, regardless of being Moderate or Conservative, our nation's 20,000 credentialed journalists, face the overwhelming effort to curry favor, and further, challenge the standardized statemets that reflect the candidates preferred public policies.
To wit, the latest indication is found in the journalist at the news outlet that is Axios. And from therein, the political press.
Thus, the journalist at Axios was fired for doing his erstwhile job.
And as such, the predatory journalism being associated with presidential politics has reached into another low-riding channel of Authoritarianism, and symbolic of the attack on journalists and where such journalists cannot reach out to a much higher level-- that of "truth-telling" since the owners of such news outlets cannot jeopardize their history for currying favor with politicians and which reinforces the advertising efforts to capture large amounts of monies from their readers and viewers.
Consequently, in the next two years of presidential politics, the notion of the Florida Governor DeSantis palaver of recent vintage of a "territorial dispute" that was the January 6th Insurrection, will be premised on "authoritarianism" and we, the progressives will be emphasizing our traditional vein of humor in keeping up with the Chicano Movement, that makes this Movement more credible for the usage of humor that is and has been historical in favor of nature's namesake.
