Hey everybody, how was your weekend? It rained here.

I had a nice time the other day playing hooky from work. I timed a vacation day for a break in the rain -- that's a thing now -- and went to my favorite place in the world, pretty much, with DD etc. Up above is what it looks like on the trail down. When you get all the way down it looks like this.

If you look close you can just about see the beach from where I took the photo I posted last week, across the Gate.

Yesterday I had a nice city walk with a pal who lives in a neighborhood full of pretty houses with gardens bursting in bloom. It only drizzled a bit. Today was mostly dry and felt downright balmy. Another storm is due to hit tonight.
