Our tour "lorry" stopped briefly in Stratford-upon-Avon (they don't like you to call it that unless you're buying something) and a wisely oldly looking gentleman informed us as to the true author of the plays and such (£60, duty free, he said). We swooned!

A conspiracy! Well, so actually, we can't be sure if William Shakespeare was William Shakespeare, or another man known by the same name. Like y'know, William, but -- Shakespeare too?

We agreed it was therefore proven, and so must all know.
