Emergency Supply List

Hello my friends, to my dismay I have discovered that a few of my dearest friends do not have a emergency preparedness check list to go to in case of emergency. I think it is imperative that we all make up a list and go out and buy the items we will need to survive in case of emergency.

I have put together a basic supply list for your consideration:

1.) An emergency water supply. (One gallon per person per day.)

2.) A battery-powered radio.

3.) Flashlights. (At least four.)

4.) Emergency food that doesn’t need cooking. ( Tuna Fish in the can.)

5.) A manual can opener

6.) A first aid kit.

7.) Blankets .

8.) Personal items, including toilet paper, and plastic garbage bags.

9.) Prescriptions ( at least one week’s worth) and medication list.

10.) Medical tags with your information about your healthcare needs.

11.) An extra set of keys to your home and car.

12.) Wheelchairs, walkers, or canes kept in a place where you can get to them quickly.

13. Matches and or lighters to start a fire.

14.) A utility knife.

These are the basic supplies I have in my home in case of emergency.

Please create your own list so you will be prepared if ever an emergency comes to your door.
