I had planned to head up to Ocala for a week or so, but it’s still pretty chilly at night to be going north, so I decided to hang around St Pete for a bit instead.

Some photos from an afternoon at Clearwater Beach (which often gets listed as one of the “Best Beaches in the US”).

For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently wintering in Florida.

Clearwater is a typical Florida beach town, though larger than most. Lots of eateries and t-shirt shops.

It was a nice day, so the parking lots were all full

The beach here is very built-up, so there are not many natural dunes remaining
