All too often these days, we’re derailed by some unexpected failure of the so-called convenience machines. The online order form takes forever to process (if it does at all); the cellphone mysteriously loses a whole text thread, the keyboard changes from QWERTYUIOP to Alpha… the list goes on and on.
But first, here is a gentle reminder of how we do things: Do not troll the diary. If you hate pootie diaries, leave now. No harm, no foul.
Please do share pics of your fur kids! If you have health/behavior issues with your pets, feel free to bring it to the community.
Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Birds... are birds! Peeps are people.
Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. If you’re having “issues” with another Kossack, keep it “out there.” This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly.
There are some pics we never post: snakes, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated. If we alert you to it, please remember that we do have phobic peeps who react strongly to them. If you keep posting banned pics...well then...the Tigress will have to take matters in hand. Or, paw.
Our pooties and woozles try to help where they can.
“No, can’t see the problem. I’m udderly flummoxed.”
“OMG, it wasn’t supposed to DO that!!”
They use tried and true techniques
“Yes, it does!”
“Keyboard needed cleaning badly!! And I’m cleaning it badly...”
“I”m doggedly determined to help.”
And have some good ideas
“I’d hedge my bets and get another laptop...”
“I do prefer working from home, don’t you?”
But we have to give them good instructions
“OH, NOES! The Blue Screen of Death!!”
“You said it’s wireless — I see WIRES!”
“Your problem is: dis ISN”T a computer!”
In some situations, it’s just time for duct tape:
When all else fails, reboot!
