Representative Katie Porter points to a chart that shows corporate greed is the top cause of inflation.
Radical Justice Daniel Kelly, who is a proxy for Big Corporations, will make Wisconsin worse. He will not defend the rule of law, as conservatives are supposed to do. It’s time to Build Back Better in Wisconsin, and working families in Wisconsin should have a fair shot. Elect Justice Janet Protaciewitz to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Both Democrats and Republicans agree that there has been inflation, and that it is causing already struggling working families to struggle even more.
Inflation was the GOP’s top campaign argument in the 2022 midterm election.
However, in one congressional hearing, Katie Porter showed a chart which demonstrated that corporate profits was the top cause of inflation from the 2nd quarter of 2020 to the 4th quarter of 2021. Why do corporations have so much profit? Due to corporate greed.
Justice Daniel Kelly, the conservative in the 2023 Wisconsin Supreme Court election, has had many conflicts of interests with corporations when he was on the Wisconsin Supreme Court from 2016 to 2020.
According to One Wisconsin Now, Justice Daniel Kelly “received $1,000 contributions from board members of the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty in the days immediately preceding and following the controversial decision in the case Koschkee v. Taylor”. Kelly ended up ruling in WILL’s favor instead of recusing from the case.
On top of that, “before taking the money from WILL board members, in 2016 Kelly also served on the group’s advisory board for legal strategy”.
Even worse, “The head of WILL, who personally argued the Koschkee case before Kelly, also endorsed Kelly’s appointment to the state high court by then-Gov. Scott Walker.”
With these conflicts of interest, Kelly was acting unethically. We cannot bring back the unethical justice, who will serve as a proxy for WILL and will probably continue taking money from them to vote in their favor in key cases that will affect all Wisconsinites for years to come.
As Janet Protaciewitz stated on her ActBlue page, “For years, the court has allowed partisanship and political ideology to guide decisions, not the rule of law.” However, conservatives are supposed to defend the rule of law, so Daniel Kelly is not even a real conservative.
If he is elected again to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, he will be a proxy for big corporations.
