I went to my local election office and picked up some papers re:

How to register

where to register

I keep them in my car and because I smile and talk to strangers that look approachable I can tell who to ask if they vote. Usually in the parking lot of the gym.

I am a senior so they usually are friendly back when I say hello.

Then I say Do you vote?

some say yes and I remind them to check their registration before the next election to make sure it is correct.

often the reply is thanks..

sometimes they say no. I say please just vote your voice counts and they say Thankyou.

I tell them where to go or laugh and say I think you could handle the online stuff..

makes my day when they say yes they vote!!

young people will get us through this next election.
