In the latest chapter of Florida becoming an Orwellian fascist nightmare, we now have a bill under consideration that would require bloggers to register with the state, if the content of their posts relates to anything Ron DeSantis does. Just wow, wow, wow.

The party that criticizes the left for supposedly “canceling speech” is pushing to implement what is effectively a prior restraint — striking at the very heart of the First Amendment in all its historical significance. Again, just wow.
