Earth is 4.5 billion year old, the earth science and prediction of weather and climate change.

Seasons and cycles

The importance of the change in weather. In ancient times, farmers must have knowledge of seasons and cycle.

Meteorology

The Lord of Heaven God Indra is responsible for weather, Hindu Upanishads, 5000 years ago. Farmers measure length of days( sun, rain). Hanukkah and Christmas coincide with winter solstice.

During the Renaissance Scientists began to use data and record weather, then came NOAA which is the most accurate weather prediction /forecast. POW weather forecast goes in depth to cycle of La Niña ENSO and Arctic blast.

ARISTOTLE

About 350 BCE, Aristotle studied weather, the first scientist/ philosopher joined Plato to teach pupils on weather and rivers.

Weather study continues across the continent and reaches to ancient Chinese Confucian. Han Dynasty, philosopher Wang Chong interpretation of rain . The source of rain and our universe, the heaven ( sky ), the moon and , mountains and forest. Wang Chong found out the cloud ☁️. The cloud comes from evaporation from the forest and oceans.

The future of long term farming would ultimately depend on weather, climate, seasons and cycle.

Agricultural Reform is the study of earth science , meteorology and habitat and this goes back to Aristotle and Wang Chong.
