Just read an article here at DKos “DEATH is New Republican Badge of Honor”, and I am OUTRAGED at what these people are doing!!!
Eliminating Social Security, MediCare, & MedicAid is merely the tip of the iceberg!!
A majority of Republicans are OK with ‘Christian Nationalism’ (= religious white supremacy) as the American standard. WtF?? People!!! If Jesus was here, he’d SLAP you!!!
This is what he said, calling out the extremists of HIS DAY:
To the SCRIBES and PHARISEES
Yeshua told the Scribes and Pharisees:
”Stop your practice of hypocrisy —
With your public prayers and self-righteous show,
You play this part as though GOD won’t know;
But, your arrogant lies and deceitful strategies,
Your spiritual pride and pretentious vanities;
These are not GOD-loving qualities…”
Yeshua told the Scribes and Pharisees:
”Forget your false philosophies —
You’re just like well-kept white-washed tombs,
Fresh-painted, empty, death-filled rooms.
Your awful attitude and appalling audacity,
Acting as if you’re the ultimate authority.
These are not GOD-loving qualities….”
The difference between what you do and say
Is the distance of your heart’s decay.
Yeshua told the Scribes and Pharisees:
”End the errors of your heresies —
You tithe your proper share of money and spices
And overlook the more crucial mercy and justice;
Following merely the letter of the Law,
As if that’s somehow all GOD saw.
These are not GOD-loving qualities….”
Yeshua told the Scribes and Pharisees:
”You treat the truth as blasphemy;
The works I do, you won’t believe
The blind are healed, but you refuse to see;
Evil hates the light — the dark deceives,
Steals and destroys, like robbers and thieves;
These are not GOD-loving qualities….”
The gap between what you say and do
Is the trap that your whole life falls through.
Yeshua told the Scribes and Pharisees:
”Repent of these pathetic policies —
These calamities culminate in catasrophe!
Fruitless, flawed, and fatal fantasies,
Taking you toward total tragedy.
Indeed, your idle ideas are insanity;
Turn to true GOD-loving qualities.”
