Super Bowl LVII Prediction — NFC All the Way
It feels like yesterday when Doug Williams led Washington to a decisive 42-10 win over John Elway and the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXII played in San Diego on January 31, 1988.
In doing so, Williams became a hero in Washington, DC and even to this day, his feats are celebrated in DC, among them being named Super Bowl MVP.
As to this evening’s football game, it pains me to say this as a Washington Commanders fan, but the Iggles will win it. Any Andy Reid-coached team is tough to beat — and QB Patrick Mahomes is no slouch, either — but Philly has the offensive and defensive tools to go toe-to-toe with the Chiefs. QB Jalen Hurts is a much-underrated player and I believe this game will showcase his many talents.
My prediction: Eagles 30, Chiefs 27. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
