When will Republicans Grasp What Socialism Actually IS or IS NOT?? [1]

National Socialist Cat??
Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) said in a committee meeting: “I mean, in your opening remarks, you were talking about Putin, Kim Jong-un, and Xi. You know what they all have in common, right?”
Yes, they all lead absolute dictatorships based loosely on Marxism with a mix-in of Capitalism and scarcely a drop of Socialism . Having the word “Socialist” in a country’s name doesn’t make them Socialist. You might recall a certain Political party that named itself “National Socialist German Workers' Party” AKA the Nazi’s? Nobody references THEM as Socialist, LOL!
Now other countries that have adopted and enacted socialist ideas and policies to various degrees and have seen success in improving their societies by doing so, are Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand. Probably the most surprising one is Bolivia, an example of a prosperous socialist country.
And finally, people, let’s face facts: NOT ONE serious Democratic party has suggested ANYTHING resembling real Socialism. We’ve only proposed medical insurance and limited safety nets, about the same as, say, Canada or Great Britain… Haven’t seen any Republicans chanting about those Canadian, British or even Swedish Socialists! No, all the Conservative wing of the Republican Party stands for is reverting to Pre-President Lincoln life in America. Only white, property-owning males are citizens and only they have the tight to vote.
Don’t kid yourself: these old white men (of which technically I am, but I am also a retired hippy) just want to own and control everything AND not pay their own way or their Corporation’s way. Makes one yearn for the return of Nelson Rockefeller Republicans. I’d even take Batty, um Barry Goldwater. (Who I voted for; I knew Johnson was a liar!) Now sadly, even Massachusetts' Governor Charlie Baker (R) has left the political scene.
Me? I’m praying that the Republican Party splits and we seriously get going on a multi-party government, AS HAVE EVERY OTHER TRUE DEMOCRACY IN THE FREE WORLD!
C’mon: none of the present teams really works for us, The People.
