Paris Hilton is a wealthy public figure that is “famous for being famous”. But the most unsavoury aspect isn’t her wealth, her hedonistic lifestyle, or even her support for Trump. In fact, Paris has a documented history of making racist and homophobic remarks.

Buzzfeed mentioned that people are calling out Paris Hilton’s “rebrand” by pointing out her past derogatory statements. Paris has faced a renaissance, if only for Generation Z’s desire to revive the “bimbo” aesthetic of the mid-00s.

“We were making out, but then we went somewhere where it was bright and I saw that he was Black and made an excuse and left. I can’t stand Black guys. I would never touch one. It’s gross. [How black does a guy have to be?] One per cent is enough for me.” — Paris Hilton, circa 1999

"She was forever using the 'N-word.' I told her not to use it. It was offensive. But she just laughed. She is a racist, plus an idiot. Every black person she referred to was a [N-word]. She uses the word all the time, and I've known her all of her life. It's ‘[N-word] this' and '[N-word] that.' She's a disgrace. She is a racist! She puts down Jews and other minorities, too. And I'm Jewish. I found it depressing ... I finally had enough of her attitude six months ago, and I finished with her. I don't want anything to do with her. I don't need anything from her. She is no longer my friend. She's just not a nice person." — Brandon Davis, National Enquirer (circa 2004)

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton was ordered Tuesday to stay away from a Los Angeles party planner who claimed she called him a “lazy Mexican” and bombarded him with threatening phone calls. (Reuters, 2006)

”We’re like two [N-words]” — Paris Hilton

”I am a fat ugly Jewish bitch, I’m a little jap-y Jew, I am a little Black whore, I get fucked in the butt for coke, I’m a [N-word] and I’ll… I’m black and I steal shit, Yo I’m black and I steal...” — Paris Hilton, to the tune of Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family”

”Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They’re disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS. [...] I would be so scared if I were a gay guy. You'll, like, die of AIDS.” — Paris Hilton, 2012

"I think that [the women accusing Donald Trump of rape and sexual assault] are just trying to get attention and get fame," — Paris Hilton (Marie Claire, 2017)
